Here’s why I have picked up my paint brush again…
I’ve always been creative even from a young age but somewhere along the way I stopped creating and picking up a paintbrush. I suppose that’s just life, but lately I decided to dust off my art supplies and just start creating again, yes it’s not perfect nor my best work but it’s a start. I packed a small set of watercolours with me to take on holiday and what I discovered was that every time I got them out, either one or all of my three children would join me to create something….it has been total magic to just sit with them and create. I have learnt a beautiful lesson, that perhaps creativity breeds creativity and maybe it’s good for the kids to see this new creative side of mummy that they haven’t really experienced and maybe it will give them the confidence to create something, anything that is a way to express themselves. I really hope it does 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

I do love my kitchen but it could absolutely do with a refresh but tbh it’s hard to find the time and the budget at the mo. I am debating on whether to repaint the kitchen cupboards myself……again not sure when I would fit this in but it is very tempting! Maybe a summer holiday project with the kids…🤣🤪
